VALUES AND OBJECTIVES:
OUR CURRICULUM :
We, at Mount Zion Academy, follow the National Curriculum Frame work (NCF) which recommends that a child’s life at school must be linked to their life outside the school. We strive to make the curriculum relevant for all our children by framing cross-curricular work that meets both the needs of the National Curriculum and our local environment wherever possible.
“True education is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental and the spiritual powers” that are given to each child to the best of his/her ability. This is the measuring rod of communication in all aspects of the modern world.
We help the children to grow into thoughtful, responsible, sensible adults with a strong sense of right and wrong. Excellent and disciplined behavior is practiced within the school premises. In-appropriate behavior and bullying are regarded as serious issues and are promptly dealt with. Positive thoughts are practiced among the staffs to enhance a positive behavior from the teacher to the student. The class is divided into smaller groups to provide additional support to enhance the learning of reading and writing skills.
